Lots of pet care centers offer special packages for different types of pets as well as discounts for multiple pets from the same family. Some of these centers are so personalized that your pets will always be boarded or kept together, making them calmer and less stressed.
The pet care center may offer adoption services or rescue services for dogs, cats and other pets that are abandoned, lost or turned into the rescue because the owners can no longer care for the pet. Often these programs are funded through grants and contributions from private individuals.
If you are boarding your pet at a pet care center ask about vaccinations and treatments for kennel cough for dogs and respiratory infections for cats. If all pets have to be treated, there is much less chance of your pet contacting some type of infectious disease.
